    Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

One night, as my husband and I lie in our bed and talk, as we most commonly did, the question was brought up about moving to West Virginia. God had opened a door for us to move, and it would be great to live close to my sister, whom I hadn’t gotten to spend any time within years. After much praying and searching for God's perfect will for our lives, we had peace to move.

Philippians 4:6

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Lori, my sister, called with the great news that she had found us a repossessed trailer and it would be moved to the property before we arrived, so we sent seven hundred dollars ahead of us for the purchase and move of our new home. We were excited but also scared of this new venture.

Romans 12:12

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

On Sunday, May 28th, 1995, after six weeks of preparation, moving day had arrived. We painstakingly packed all our earthly belongings, our three precious children, our three dogs, and our ford ranger truck with a recently blown engine, which was our only vehicle, onto waiting trailers and trucks. Finally, we took off to Wild, Wonderful West Virginia with a caravan of three willing assistants to help us to our destination.

   Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap,

 if we faint not.
